Data Dash Inc., a leader in quality and cost effective information technology (IT) solutions, was awarded a STARS II small-business contract by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). The STARS II (Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services) contract, worth up to $10 billion, allows federal agencies the ability to contract with pre-approved small business technology providers across the nation, shortening procurement time and saving tax dollars. Data Dash is only one of a select group of firms nationwide to receive the contract.
"We're honored the U.S. GSA selected Data Dash for its list of proven and trusted companies to work with the federal government to provide IT services," said Susan Morton, Data Dash President. "We bring more than 20 years of expertise and quality service to providing IT solutions to our clients."
Data Dash will provide a full schedule of IT services including custom computer programming, computer systems Design, computer facilities management services as well as additional computer-related services. The contract is reserved exclusively for qualified, certified 8(a) small businesses. Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act is a program created to help small and disadvantaged businesses compete in the marketplace.
